Grape varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Barroca.
Ribas Lira Special Reserve Port is made from hand-harvested grapes, carefully picked and placed in 20 kg plastic crates, then quickly transported to the estate’s own press. Every step of the process – from harvest to bottling – takes place entirely on the estate. The grape bunches are hand-sorted before pressing and the wine is only lightly filtered, resulting in a port full of flavour and natural complexity, with a slightly hazy appearance.
The port is aged for a minimum of 4 years, and the final blend is personally selected by António – carefully crafted for its style, richness, and the character of the finish, ensuring a memorable experience in every glass.
Tasting notes: Plums, blackberries, figs, toasted walnut, prunes.
