Jim Beam White Label is one of the best-known bourbons in the world and is the flagship of the large Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky. It is produced by a Master Distiller from the Beam family and has a recipe that dates back to the distillery’s opening in 1795 – a story that few can match. White Label is aged for 4 years, which is double the amount required to call it straight bourbon, and is bottled at a mild strength of 40%. This is not an overly impressive bourbon by any means, but it delivers every time, and it does so quite well for its price. White Label shines in cocktails but can also be enjoyed over a couple of ice cubes.
