Nestled between the soft hills and the Rhine River, this southern wine region is recognized as a pioneer area for organic and biodynamic viticulture in Germany. Made from 100% Riesling grapes, the harvest occurs about two weeks after they have ripened. The grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures before being filtered and bottled.
